Our Beginning

The Louisville Chapter of Trout Unlimited was chartered in November 1985. Eighteen members signed the original charter. They were:

Norman H. Wathen
1925 - 2008

Louisville Trout Unlimited lost a founding member on Friday, March 14, 2008. He served in many capacities in the club. He was nationally known for his streamer flies. We will miss him.

The 20 Year Celebration on October 25, 2005 was GREAT! Several of our founding members attended. A good time was had by all. We enjoyed hearing the early history of the club. We were sorry all the founders could not be there. The newer members enjoyed the reminiscing as much as the founders. We hope you will come back again.
